My day ...
Be warned my day was random:
- Become depressed with the gift mother nature gave me this morning. Another month without child, humpf.
- Advil gel caps took way too long to kick in this morning.
- Cheered myself up. Seriously I'm fine now, promise.
- Put dinner in the crock-pot & set the timer
- Hit the local roads for work
- Witnessed a beautiful fall day. The trees along the highway blew leaves in the air beautifully. It was peaceful.
- Had a successful day at work. Many happy faces & productive conversations along with referrals.
- Listened to most of a Dave Ramsey book while driving from client to client today.
- Was grateful dinner was already cooked & did not have to buy anything (Dave would have been proud)
- Ate a filling dinner with Brant
- Packed lunch for tomorrow
- Cleaned all dishes
- Relaxed on the computer

Mayor of Hoover City (Texas)
I fell in love with this painting at the DMA. -Olin Travis, Mayor of Hoover City (Texas), 1929, oil on canvas
The emotion is amazing. Look closely at the evidence of hard work in determination. There is quite the contrast between the makeshift homes & the Dallas skyline in the background. Love It!!!

1.) Admired the beautiful fall evening skyline on the rooftop of a 31 story building.
(Wished we had our swimsuits to go swimming on the roof. The pool was heated ... another time)

Thank You WFAA Good Morning Texas!
I won sweet tickets to the U2 360 tour @ the Dallas Cowboys stadium. We had a blast with 70,000 other people. It was one of the best concerts I've been to.

I'll NEVER Leave You Again!!!!
After a terrible sabbatical my eyelashes are back. Just look at them after a long day at work. They've remained fabulously curled, mascara intact & no residue raccoon eyes. Even with humidity!
I left my favorite brand to something far inferior. I thought that since it had a Christmas tree sized brush it would be the same as my favorite brand. After a few hours my eyelashes would go flat & look bare. After a few months, I said "Enough's Enough."
I ran as fast as I could to the nearest ULTA to buy a tube, of "Lash Injection" by "Too Faced" cosmetics, & whalah!

I'll never leave you again Lash Injection!!!!!!

Who says I'm old ...
Who needs Botox when you can play laser tag with High Schoolers!
I played laser tag with the 16-18 year old youth in our church tonight. They whipped my fanny or the boys at least! I felt 15 years younger :)
Maybe Brant & I should go with some adults on a group date. I'd definately have to stretch 1st & wear all black!

Yeah It's here!!!
Finally we have new flooring. We decided to go with handscaped hardwoods in the living room & dining room. Those were installed just before Labor Day weekend. The carpet was installed today. I feel like I live in a new home!!!!

Does wearing a yellow shirt make me blond???
My day ...
- Put on a yellow shirt.
- Picked up Pei Wei for a lunch at at an Ortho doc down town
- Parked car at usual meter in front of the building
- Filled the meter up - max 2 hours
- Noticed across the street had a max of 12 hours (hmmmn maybe I should park there so I don't have to come back down to feed the meter)
- Moved car across the street
- Filled this meter to 3 hours 15 minutes
- Went inside for lunch presentation
- Finished & proceeded outside
- Noticed I filled the WRONG meter
- Oh no, did I get a parking ticket? Hardly anyone parked across the street so maybe there's a chance.
- Crossed Fingers
- Found ticket on windshield for filling up 2 meters for someone else apparently

It's A Miracle!
I was doing laundry yesterday & washed someone's pant's (who shall remain nameless) & look what came out with the clothes! Yes, I thought it was done for. Remorse filled my heart as I walked upstairs to share the news. What was to be done with all those work files? How much time will be lost having to redo whatever was on that thumb-drive? Brant sat there thinking quietly. He then turned his head & said there were 400 pictures on there that he could get from somewhere else. All was good. Whew, I felt bad for the guy but was grateful nothing major was lost.
I left the freshly washed piece of electronics on the table over night. Brant went ahead & stuck it in the computer while I was searching the internet for a recipe today. To our surprise it worked!!! Miracles do happen. Whoo Hooo!
